![]() ![]() Endoscopic techniques have been well accepted as a non-invasive style of treatment used to diagnose problems inside body cavities. We use flexible fiber -optic scopes of the appropriate diameter to explore the esophagus, stomach, intestines, colon (gastrointestinal problems) as well as the airways (trachea and bronchi) and rigid telescopes for the nose, ear, urethra… Endoscopy is performed in under a light anaesthesia. Samples can be taken for biopsy.
