This 14 month old female Dog de Bordeux was sent to us from Adelaide with severe bilateral juvenile hip dysplasia (loose joints). ‘Jane’ was not able to walk, run or even stand without discomfort. Her family vet had tried anti-inflammatory medications for months. You can see the muscle wastage prior to surgery. She had a total hip replacement six weeks before the second video was taken. You can see improved limb use and muscular development. Jane has now had the second hip replaced too.
